The short version
MoMan has no ads, no analytics, no crash reporting and no telemetry. We don't have accounts and we don't collect personal data.
On your device
Your library, reading progress, settings and backups are stored locally on your device. Backups are files you create and keep.
Network requests
- Update check: the app asks momanreader.com/latest.json for the newest version. Like any web server, it may log standard request data (such as IP address and time) briefly for operation and abuse prevention.
- Sources and extensions: content is fetched from third-party sources you add. Those services have their own privacy policies.
- Trackers: if you sign in to a tracking service, MoMan talks to it directly on your behalf.
